Employment

The Austin Fire Department is a volunteer fire department that takes pride in serving our community with professionalism and respect. We are dispatched to several different types of incidents, some are medical emergencies, lift assists, fire alarms, structure fires, vegetation fires, etc. We are always looking for new volunteers and believe we have a spot for just about anyone that is willing to serve their community. The employment application is provided below under Relevent Documents. You may also pick up a paper copy at the Austin City Hall Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Our training nights are on tuesday nights starting at 6:30pm.
