Permits & Inspections

Building Permits

Building permits are required inside Austin City Limits for all new projects that are permanent/portable structures and add a roof line to the property. Building permits may be obtained from the Office Manager at the Austin City Hall.

Inspections

All HVAC & Plumbing work that is new construction or remodeling is required to be inspected. Our Public Works division currently handles these inspections. Please contact the Office Manager at City Hall for an inspection.
